diversity

ZAFA Wines is 100% woman-owned and has intentionally maintained at least 85% historically underrepresented employees. We are vocal about our intentions to provide opportunities to people from marginalized identities; this includes POC, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and other marginalized populations. Until our often-homogenous industry reflects a level playing field for all identities, we at ZAFA will strive to level out the curve and provide opportunity and equity to those who are often not seen or given a chance.

Equity

Equity starts with taking care of our employees, which is why we believe in business transparency and training opportunities, health benefits, competitive and livable wages, and regenerative farming. All part-time and seasonal harvest employees at ZAFA start between $17-20. Full-time ZAFA employees start with a minimum of $40k plus health, dental and vision care. Our employees are our most important assets.

regeneration

What is regenerative farming? Our farming method and philosophy is to rehabilitate, protect, and elevate the resources we have rather than depleting them. We’re committed to never use synthetic fertilizers, synthetic pesticides, or harmful farming practices in order to restore and promote healthy soils. Through these practices, our goal is to invest in the land for the long run.
